I've noticed for the past 2 days (since I've been looking at the old Novell server status page) that nds10rs is showing yellow on "Available Logical Space". A quick unload/reload ds.nlm puts it back in the green. Not sure what's happening here, but I'm going to reboot it tonight.

Partly as a spinoff from last Friday's meeting, and partly from my own reflections on stuff I've done that hasn't worked, I've been wrestling with a question. The question I have is, how do we meet management needs without needless bureaucracy? How can we meet these needs in a sensible, sustainable way?
Roughly, from my experience, management needs:
If you are a Google Docs user, you can publish your documents to any of the Drupal blogs (integrate, xteams...). The nice thing is that when you update your Google doc, you can "republish" your post to the blog, updating it rather than creating a new one. You can also remove the post via Google Docs.
To configure Google Docs for this, open a document and from the Share menu choose "Publish as web page...."
Choose the "change your blog settings" link. The settings you will use are:
NOTE TO REVIEWERS:
This document is intended to give some brief guidance to new employees, things that will help them get basically set up during their first week here. Things the Business Office does (parking, orientation, etc) for the most part won't be covered here, just a few links. I'm also not thinking about this as the place for in-depth descriptions of the services we offer/support.

Hardware requirements are greater than previous versions. 1 GB RAM is minimal for it to work well. 512 MB testing may be "ok". Recommendation is to purchase new machines with at least 2 GB RAM.
This document identifies HPGATE.NLM settings that may help with stability:

I talked with Patrick, and we think it's worth trying the settings on one of the print servers to see if it helps, or at least doesn't make things worse.
I have applied them to nds05ps.
AdminStudio, the de facto standard for Windows application packaging, costs $3,000 for the standard edition with maintenance.
In the "too good to be true" vein, there is a product called Advanced Installer, which offers a simple free version. The "professional" version is less than $500. I would like help in determining if it would be an adequate substitute for AdminStudio for most users.
This is a short presentation discussing the current state of WolfPrep Classic, with a preview of WolfPrep Blue.
